Rules of the dirt

• Teams take turns. Each turn you control one snail and get one shot, then a few seconds to run.
• Wind pushes rockets, letters and flames. Grenades ignore it. Check the meter bottom-right.
• Snails at 0 health explode at the end of the turn. Water is instant death.
• Hurting yourself, or falling far, ends your turn.
• Crates drop from the sky (in caves, from under the roof): weapons, utilities and health. Some are booby-trapped.
• Mines and oil drums are scattered around. Use them. A few mines are duds that fizzle out instead of exploding.
• Poisoned snails lose 5 health per turn. Health crates cure poison.
• When the round timer runs out it's Sudden Death: the water rises every turn.
• The Ninja Rope: fire to attach, swing, climb, fire to let go, and fire again mid-air to re-attach. Reeling in swings you faster. Reel all the way in under a ledge and hold with or : your snail spins up and squeezes through to the top, if the ground is thin enough.
• Dropped out? Online games reconnect by themselves. After closing the browser, open the game again and press Rejoin Room: a CPU plays your team while you're away. If the host leaves, another player takes over hosting.
• Touch screens get an on-screen pad. Tap the map to pick targets, drag to look around.
